A place with views on AI and humanity. A very real person (behind the name and image). Writing here and posting on BlueSky. Looking for stillness to poke the maelstrom. AI skeptic. Anti-doomer. Anti-hype. Occasionally hopeful. Missing the wonder.

Yet to be seen what the site will be. There have been too many thoughts. Things overflowing this mind. Things effectively homeless. Things not sufficiently professional, technical, creative, tight, or precise. Still, to me, worth working through. Writing to think. Wanting to share. Not wanting historical assumptions.

If it is anything like a past blog it's going to swing from practical, to theoretical, to philosophical, to political, and back again. Via some righteous anger on occasion. Sometimes some gut-felt snark for seasoning. But we shall see. There is enough information overwhelm and market disruption to scupper best laid plans.

It is all shades of grey, but we can navigate uncertainty. It is not acceptable to be told it is too late to change things by corporate lobbyists.

A few breadcrumbs of views there, all of which are subject to change. Why wouldn't they? GenAI, used at massive scale, is less than two years old. Round and round we go. Where does it stop? People don't know... or they are lying. What about AGI? Are we nearly there yet? Stop the ride? We all need a bit more trust, clarity, and calm in our lives.
